Default 5000S Not in the registry

http://www.classicdriver.com/uk/find...=1&rID=1715971

Recently saw this car for sale. Apparently chassis CLA12544 which would put it around 1982 rather than 1984. Any one know anything about this car?

In the same sale there's an anniversary, also not in the registry.

Cheers
Simon

Simon,

Glen of the lambo regsitry can't hold up with adding cars since he's writing a book too.
Just mail him these to cars and he will save the pictures and add them somewhen...

The LP500s is indeed a 1982 car, the very first LP500s was CLA12470, the first known 1983 car is DLA12549.

In the Old Days Lamborghini was producing between 100-200 Countachs max per year (about 125 was average). When US EPA & DOT rules dictated US Imports the production numbers varied widely between 80 & 86..

Could the 1982 CT (4.0) be brought legally to the United States? If so how much would it cost to bring it over.
