Hard to say, the prices are all over the map!!!!

These Cars have to be priced on a Scale of 1-10....to restore a Lamborghini by a qualified guy could cost from 10K to 100K

IMO the prices will raise, the countach was underpriced during the last years, what will definitely fall are the early 2wd Diablos, nobody should buy one older than 1993 when the smaller dash, different brakes and power steering came into production.

just my 0.02

these values are rubbish imo,
an anniversary with a bigger price than a LP400
find me a good one for 90000 $, i'll buy it tomorrow

Here is my take on this.

In show condition:

LP400:..............100K-110K

LP400S S1:.........90K-100K

LP400S S2:...........70K-80K

LP5000S:..............70K-80K

Downdraft QV:.....90K-100K

Injected QV:..........75K-85K

Anniversary:.........80K-90K

I have owned or drove all of these cars.

The Downdraft cars are the fastest but not fast by today's standards.

The rare factor will make the 78-79 Bravo wheel S1 lowbody cars & the 85-86 Downdraft cars value about the same over the years.

The pure LP400 should be higher but it depend on who is buying.

I would rather have a 78-79 S1 over a LP400 if I had only one to choose.

Remember this is all just where my heart is.

PS: I would not mind a Anniversary car one day, they had the best fit and finish and the most comfortable interior.

Hi Tony,

Your USA pricing is on the mark IMO

In Europe the market (and perception of value) is slightly different. Historically values would change from country to country but recently the internet and the expanded Lambo dealer network is reducing these price differences.

LP400:..............Euro 110-115.000 = US$ 129K-134K

LP400S S1:........Euro 65.000 -75.000 = US$ 76K-87K

LP400S S2:.........Euro 60.000 -70.000 = US$ 70K-82K

LP5000S:............Euro 60.000 -70.000 = US$ 70K-82K

Downdraft QV:.....Euro 70.000 -80.000 = US$ 82K-94K

Injected QV:........Euro 70.000 -80.000 = US$ 82K-94K

Anniversary:.........Euro 75.000 -90.000 = US$ 87K-105K

At this time the majority of Countaches for sale are the 25th Ann. model.

I think that prices will go up about 10 to 15% per year for the next 4 to 5 years. If the 15% per year trend does indeed happen a $100.000 car today will have a value of $201.000 in December 2010.

Wat do you think a $170.000 2005 Gallardo will be worth in 2010?

Alex

im my opinion countach market will follow miura's
of course i doubt countach will touch today's SV value
but as happened with the miura models, there will be a significative difference for the real collectibles,
the question is: is there a CT model that can be seen as the sv for the miuras?
my answer is no:
there are 3 cars that, for a reason or for an other are the most desirables:
LP400, the purest
S1, the rarest
QV downdraft, the fastest

wich one will be the most expensive?
i don't know, i bet the LP400, i' m not so sure

i also think the least collectible and the cheapest will be the anniversary cars,
too many cars, too much refinment and a "questionable" design
i already see a lot of them for sale and they stay for a long time....i can't say
this for any of the other models
