On Raymonds site I can see that rust is often a problem at the fenders. Any other particular trouble spots (other than the whole car I assume being Italian). Also, at $ 25k what condition should the car be in to be a good deal?

jalpa's have a couple of issues. You want to make sure that the fuel lines are not dry rotted, which can and will result in fire. You want to make sure that the key electronic components work (headlights, brake lights, etc) at $25K it is bound to need some work. You want to make sure that you get a PPI (Private Party Inspection) they cost money but are well worth it in the end.

Thanks very much for your help. Highly appreciated. Now I'll go to bed. I'll come back once I have seen the car. Good night.

I went to see the car and wish to warn others against it. This is it: LAMBORGHINI JALPA

It needs a complete resto. Tons of rust. Engine bay looks like thrash and the seller is very dishonest and an arrogant jerk too. Don't waste your time.
