I paid $50 for the cap, that's cheap since one for the CT shall cost $400...

Forget Miura_parts, that's the same dealer like formula_racing, this price is a ripoff, Maserati_source sells them for $50.
The Maserati Quttroporte used the exact same distributor from Bosch. I omitted miura_parts and formula_racing from my search for Lambo-Stuff...

There are a lot of discount sites on the internet man. And they sell brand new parts so it would be a lot more convenient for you.

I used to buy these caps 4 at a time from Kerry McMullen at Maserati Club International! hahahaa.. As Raymond pointed out, the cap is used on the 1980's Maserati 4Porte as well as the Indy, Kylami, etc.. And it was used on the Jalpa.
If you belong to the Maserati club, they are about $90.00 if not, they are $100. These are OEM Bosch caps too. Here is the link to their page: Maserati Club, Maserati Parts, MIE Corp. MaseratiNet Store - DISTRIBUTOR CAP V8 Electronic Also, the rotor is the same too ($28.00): Maserati Club, Maserati Parts, MIE Corp. MaseratiNet Store - DISTRIBUTOR ROTOR (GT)

.
I hope this will be helpful. I. Bosch Rotor Part #1 234 332 177 has been discontinued. The part is used on numerous Mercedes, Volvo's and the following Porsche models: 928 - 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982 928 S - 1983, 1984 BECK/ARNLEY Rotor Part #1735232 is a good alternative. It can be purchased from most autoparts sources for about $12. There are several other alternatives however. II. The Bosch Cap Part #123 552 2200 is still available for around $65. Here is a link to an on-line source where both parts can be obtained: Note- Search by Part# (it's easier) RockAuto Parts Catalog . |
