Default 1983 jalpa

I’m doing it , I’m going to Minneapolis, MN on April 12 & 13 to look at buying a 1983 Jalpa in Cobalt Blue with 14000 Kilometers on it, It's a 2 owner with all service records. It's car number 24, its registered on Lamborghiniregistry, http://www.lamborghiniregistry.com/Jalpa/12024.html

Congratulations, a wonderful car, the only thing I don't like are the blue bumpers, painted in satin black would give the car a even better shape.

Agree - looks in wonderful condition, but shame about the blue bumpers.

If you buy, let me know. I have chassis number 12029, so parts will be the same.....

I presume this is a US spec car, looking at the front side indicator lights, is that right?

Best of luck

It's european, european bumpers and original carello side indicator on the fender. The US side indicators are about 3 inches long.

This one is US:

Congrats, Chris! Car looks really sharp. Let me know how it turns out; we may both end up sharing some common challenges (owning a jalpa/living in VA/owning and servicing a Jalpa in VA )

At this time there's no US spec. car, US spec.car appeared later, the first Jalpa who went in the US are Euro Spec.

interesting....

Here's a photo of my Jalpa, chassis number 12029, with the longer "US" style indicator lights. According to what info I have, it was originally shipped to the United Arab Emirates.
