Default Urraco Door Part

Hello, does anyone knows if there is a part from a other Car i can use for my driverside door?
I search the part, i ihink called door stopper, who is between the door an the car, who holds the door open, or stops the door when open.

any idea?

No...this is a part you will have to fabricate. This "stop" breaks and mars the door when "someone" opens the door too wide or hits an open door against something while the car is moving...very common unfortunately.

You can modify honda accord door stops pretty easily.

Depending on your skills...fabbing a stainless steel strap to replace the broken piece(s) is simpler than trying to fit a foreign part to the car.

hello schnage

you might want to check a 60's-70's bertone alfa 105 gtv door check strap. i havent seen my doors in years but if memory serves it appears to the similar or the same as the urraco. these are known to fail or stretch over the years and i believe they are starting to remanufacture them. the earlier alfa cars may have been all a metal strap.
let us know if once you find out if they are interchangeable or not please?

sorry I cannot get on the forum very often.

One of my cars does have accord parts the other were fabed from the ground up.

Sorry I do not have the part number as it was done by my mech.

Now i have a few days off, so i can look for some work on my cars, here are the door stop parts i have ordered, but the are to small...the are from a alfa, maybe i can use the strap, but the cast part is to small..... :-(
