I was just wondering if anyone here just got into a race with a black 944 Turbo. That was me!

In case he isn't here:

I pulled up to a light wanting to take some pictures (the thing just turned red) of the car but then it turned green and I just wanted to hear the great noise so I pulled down the window. To my suprise, he took off a bit (not full throttle) and gave me a hint. However, seeing he was out for some fun, I stayed on him. At the next light I got into the lane next to him and waved. He waved and smiled, nice guy indeed. When the light turned green we both stomped on it, him getting about an immediate 1-2 cars on me. After that, I began to reel him in. By third gear, I had caught up. Then i passed him and . At the next light he turned though, never got a chance to talk.

By the way, my 951 is heavily modified. I did some heavy weight reduction (a contradiction in terms) and I should be putting down about 380+whp at 18 psi. Oh, and the weighs about 2750lbs now if my calculations are correct.

Anyway, nice race man! I'd love to get a ride in that thing.

Now see, if you would of been in a Lambo you could of pushed a button and the window would have rolled down, there not pull down like porsche . I'm just teasing, sounds like you've got one mean porsche.

I wish I had some comforts, but I took everything out when I stripped the interior

what color was the gallardo? and did it have custom wheels? A friend of mine lives in Riverside and he has an orange gallardo with custom 19 and 20" black wheels, and it's lowered too

It was pretty late, it could have been orange. I never really got a look at the wheels, but it did seem very low (don't think it could have been lower than it was). Maybe it was him?
