Default Will egear allow driver to "shift on the fly"?

Hey guys:

If I'm driving a Gallardo with the automatic engaged, can I drop it into neutral (both paddles back) and right paddle immediately into egear mode without coming to a complete stop?

Yes, but you will now be in manual mode and you'll need to press the Auto button to return to Auto mode.

Exactly -- I just wanted to make sure I didn't have to come to a complete stop to go from auto to manual. What about from manual to auto? Only from first gear?

Thanks for your reply, M!

You can go back and forth from auto to manual from any gear. If in auto, just hit a paddle up or down to shift gears, then it puts you into manual mode. If in manual mode, just hit the A button to switch to auto.

Fayence:

Prefect response -- thank you. What is your opinion of the local dealers for sales/service in our area, Symbolic and Platinum (Lambo OC)?

I've been happy with Symbolic La Jolla. Service has been great and no complaints. I'm selling my silver eGear 04 Gallardo, if you are interested. :-)

The Lambo World is a small one. If you are selling yours on consignment with them, I almost drove down to look at it on Saturday!

I've decided on black egear, but I think silver looks fantastic. I've also decided to deal with the depreciation hit and get a 2005.

If you are selling, do you plan to keep another exotic of some kind?

Thanks again for your responses.

Yes, that is mine. You should really consider it. It drives well, i've taken care of the minor issues that inevitably come up in a new car, silver keeps well, etc.

I'm getting a yellow Carrera GT, should be fun.

The Seller makes a big difference. How is it priced right now? I told Mike on Friday that I was only focused on new.
