Seems like most of you guys buy lightly used Lambos with low mileage. This is also what I plan to do.

Are there particular wear areas you look for when inspecting a used G or M that's only 2-4yrs old? Obviously tire wear, clutch feel, body panels & paint. What else?

My dealer had a 2007 with all options, and only 1750 miles on it, asking 209K it sold in a few days.

There are some good deals to be had. I would hate to buy new and see they price dump because of the new model.

Thanks Russ
Try for more, I think 30K is very possible.

I agree with the previous poster. Dealer here is offering me about $30k discount for a 2008 coupe' Gallardo.

Thanks for the replies. I will go for more as it seems they are very hungry for a sale. It might just get better. I was all bent on having to ahve a new one, but I think I will hold off for a low mileage 07 or 08 and see what happens.

My problem is that I am not very patient and I have wanted this car for a long time. Now I can finally afford it and I am having a hard time using pratical logic. I do appreciate having this forum to share with as I have noticed that there are not too many people that you can talk Lambo talk to. Most of my associates are Porsche drivers as I am now, and really can't see what I see in Lamborghinis.

Thanks & Aloha,

Russ

One thing I would add is that regardless of whether you get a low mileage used car or a discounted new car, depreciation will still be quite high. I see here in Tokyo, low mileage Gallardos, slightly over 2 years old (just off the warranty) offered at ~$150k.

Bigfoot,

I am sorry to hear that. I am planning on buying a preowned Gallardo Sypder and then perhaps when they come out with the LP 560-4 Spyder I would trade up. I just hope the USD doesn't keep losing value.

Aloha,
Russ

In fairness, Spyders seem to hold up better in the used market.
