You would need to find out what the rules for correction are in the state it occured. But normally it covers name changes (by marriage/divorce etc) and lien holder changes. Sometimes it can include odometer corrections (like kilometers were supplied instead of miles) and in some respects it could be correcting any info on the title. I did a correction once - the dealer titled a lambo of mine as a ferrari and it was a bitch to get fixed.
It does not have anything to do with salavage titles if thats your concern etc.
