I know this is a Lambo site but I'm sure you are familiar with F-chat. I wanted to get your opinion's on this site. I have my own opinion which I will share in the near future. Thanks for your consideration.

You would get banned from f Chat with a first post like that. Welcome.

I view the site for legitimate commentary on cars for sale and, more importantly, on repair issues and how they were solved. Alot of whinning about "what my car should be worth" or how far the market has dropped-I have stopped paying attention to that dribble.
I was hot on the Mondial and then the 348. Enough reading convinced me I could not deal with the constant pain of ownership. And I have no need to brag about the $7.5K I have pissed away on a couple of timing belts and POS
belt tensioners. The site was very informative there.
So to that end, for me, the site has great value. And, alot of complaining about Rob Lay. Who cares! The guy owns and maintains the site-it's his baby-if it were not for him info on that site would not be available.
Now I look at it for the Lambo info along with others, as I now have the Diablo bug, which, I suspect, with enough reading of tech stuff will either get me to be an owner or chase me away. Who knows, but the adventure continues.
Keep posting all those tech and DIY articles everyone-very appreciated by me.

Just do not every mention another site there, it will look like this if you do

Funny you should mention that. I made 4 posts on Ferrarichat and they deleted my membership. I didn't start and argrument or say anything that was deflamatory. I thought they were really rude to me and they never gave me an explanation. I hope this board is more civilized. I really don't understand some of the attitudes on the Internet. I guess people can hide on their keyboards and just be mean.

Mods there have serious issues. They either don't do enough or do too much without explaination. The for sale section is too much profit taking for my taste. Private owners should be able to sell stuff without paying a fee imo. Lastly, the private forums is a bit annoying. It is an elitist mentality that i find many Fcar owners love.

It is one of my least visited forums.

And if were not for sites like this one and F-Chat, we would not have the pleasure of having a gentleman Like Chadbourn Boles being ever present and keeping us in line about Lambos and other stuff. An encyclopedia of knowledge about Lambos as well his common sense approach to Lambo issues.
As for F-Chat, I am not sure why certain folks get banned. Clearly, Rob Lay goes to the end of the earth to protect his advertisers. Well, I figured that out early on and simply avoided sticking him in his sensitive eye. And by the way, do not know the guy in the least; have never had contact with him;take the site for its value.
I think I am going to be the lone wolf here crying in the night.
Keep those tech and do-it-yourself repairs coming!
