had a great time toegether yesterday
i met him and his wonderfull family at his house, i was welcome as a "good old friend" and we had a good lunch toegether, i felt very comfortable with all,they are very kind and was nice to talk with Alex and his wife, really appreciate it

the day started in the wrong way: my car didn't start for a dead battery and i had to take the "daily" for the trip, but beside the fact we couldn't make this run with both Countach, all the day was real fun

after lunch Alex took me for a fast run on the nice twisty roads near his
home, the DD goes as good as it looks: drives smooth and strong and pulls like a train all the way 4000-7500, Alex pushed it a little around some corners but still safety well under the limits of the car
what an amazing machine and it looks as good and as clean as it had just left the factory, i found only a fault on the black monster:
it is not for sale

Thanks for your kind words. Look forward to return your visit and finally have the pleasure to go for a ride together - maybe we can meet near Modena and drive up to the Adria Track. I can ask Andrea to come with his white 5000S - need to find a LP 400 and 25th to complete the range.
