Mick--We now know how you feel with the roadster. Everything looked great leaving SD this morning until we hit north county and it started pouring on us. We debated stopping to put the roof back on, but decided we would just get even more wet, so we sped up and just drove through. It was ok except for the streams from the side of the window. We were both pretty drenched by the time it stopped. Oh well....BTW we owe you guys a round of drinks.

I did not have the pleasure on meeting you guys. Hopefully, next time.

Took Hwy 33 then 198 east to I-5.

All of you in So Cal need to drive the 198 east or west from 33 WHAT A ROAD!!!!!!!!

Yes, we do have some wonderful roads here in CA. I've driven those roads a number of times. Sure, it was not in my SV, but it was in a capable sportscar.

San Diego right now is just like Seattle, damp and raining. I'm glad to hear you made it back safely.
