I pissed my trustees off- So no 300K for a car till Like, August or so... ): I'd have to deal with payments- I have a conference with my lawyer about some of my excess assets- So, I'll know a little a little later today!

ALLLLLLLRIGHTY then....Roy's GTO literally cleaned house in the awards portion of the Hot Rod and Custom Car show...winning First place for best paint (it's like someone spent several hours waxing the car before the show !!), best engine, best Big Block Convertible and something else...oh yeah, some sweepstake award...plus $200.00 !! Quite the collection of trophies and plaques...

Diablo won best non modified production car (probably the detail job the car got prior to the show !!!), first place of course....

My Murcie took first place in the specialty interest category (So I spent a little more time cleaning my car )...all in all, our display left with SIX FIRST place awards !!!!

Not too shabby !!

Was a great time overall...met up with lots of the club members too during the event, it was great to see everyone !!! Looking forward to the next event !!

Congrats Kevin, you did a great job getting the cars down here and prepping
them. Congrats to you too Roy! It was great seeing you guys again and
meeting Jamie too, Kevin.

I can confirm the exhibit was one of the most popular. There were always
a good number of people around it. It helped that Kevin got space
near the front door, so attendees walked right by it as they entered
the show. Basically, the Diablo, Murcielago 40th, and Gallardo SE knocked
them on their butts right off the bat! If they weren't into exotics, the GTO
got them. The rest of the show was an anticlimax for tham after that point.
The signs describing the cars were good too.

And with Kevin's Murci, I think it was the first Murci on display at a
Portland auto show, that I know of. Finally !! I've heard comments at the
Portland Auto Show, from people viewing Ron Tonkins Diablo GT, asking
why a Murcielago or Gallardo wasn't on display. Interesting that the
Rod & Custom Show scooped the Portland Auto Show !!
