Default Confused

Alright I came on this forum to hopefully understand the comments that I seen on the net and I have yet to see any give or take on the idea. Well I'll be the first to tell you I'm not here to get in a pissing match but I need some understanding on this subject. I believe 6.0 bull mentioned something about not understanding until you own a lambo and I think I do understand but tell me if i'm wrong I own a beach king air b200 I'll restate that I am purchasing this aircraft yes I know it's not a lambo but in the end it's going to cost me 1.3 million but here is my point in no way shape or form would I get bent out of shape cause some "as*hole" asks me if it's a kit plane. I would get into a conversation with them about the plane and maybe tell them some specifications and what not to broaden their horizons. It does'nt matter how much you spend on an item it matters what is in your hear, do you drive a lambo cause you want people to notice you or to think your better then everyone else on the road or do you drive it for yourself and your heart. I know when I fly I do it for the love of flight and I think that can compare to driving a car peace.

I feel you kickn, Myself I drive because I like driving, and I was originally going to get a ferrari 360, but when my dad offered me the roadster, I couldn't refuse lol.

But I don't think im in anyway better than anyone. I mean sure my parents have enough money to do whatever... but money doesn't make the person who you are inside. And if it does than thats just wrong

Thumbs up Well I hope I'm on the right track to understanding

Right on that's what I like to see some "understanding" and compassion.

I think your understanding it just fine, cause personally... I think if a person gets that pissed off because someone asks them if its a replica.. then my answer is simple

1. Grow up

or 2. get a different car

I drive a Lambo for myself. I dislike replicars because I dislike forgeries, frauds, imitations, rip-offs or whatever you want to call them. I can't afford an Audemars Piguet watch or a real painting by Degas; well I could afford a very well used AP watch, but not anything like what I'd want ($45k+), but I'm not going to go out and buy a fake or build a fake and put the AP name on it and tell people it's legit. I don't appreciate people who have fake watches or art as much as I don't appreciate people who have fake Lambo's because it's living a lie no matter what nice "I spent 10,000 hours building this fake" label you want to put on it. I don't care how much effort they invested in their fake car, it's insulting to the designers and engineers who spent all their time designing the real thing, and the artisans who carefully assemble them.

Intelligent replicar builders who actually have the skills to do what they do should build cars that are designed for that, such as the Ultima GTR, then you end up with something that outperforms a Lamborghini and you can brag about it from that perspective instead of I built a fake Lamborghini which underperforms the real thing but look at how much money I saved.

Only thing that has pissed me off thus far has been a doctor who was getting his car inspected for insurance at the same time as me and stated that I must have rich parents.

If you have a car that has a Lamborghini badge on it and it was not produced by Lamborghini, you are living a lie. I have yet to see a fake Lambo that doesn't have the Lamborghini badge on it.
