i have a optima red top im my 94 vt,spoke to interstate and stated red top is not made for vehicles not driven much,they states the sulfated dry,red top is made for vehicle driven 3-4 xs a week,what do you guys think?

Sounds like BS and runs 100% counter to what Optima says. One of the benefits of the Optima is its low discharge rate.

"Depending on storage temperature, the OPTIMA can usually sit for 8 to 12 months and start most vehicles. " - note that this implies being disconnected.

The optima batteries are Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM). One of the features of AGM is its resistance to sulfation.

thats what i thought also mick,i leave my switch off and have a battery tender on,so far so good.jthanks for the input
