Default Opinions wanted - 06 Gallardo

Just bought this 06 G coupe in Grigio Antares (Titanium). High mileage car (14k) but it is the only G car I've seen in this color (normally a Murcie color). I thought this forum would be a good one to ask if there are others in this color.

Also can you comment on if I got a good/reasonable deal. I paid 145k and it has a clear bonnet, alcantera headliner, electric seats, seat warmers, sport exhaust from OC lambo. I added the yellow painted calipers and HRE wheels. It has been serviced with a new clutch. I never look back or have buyers remorse even though this was an impulse buy (just went to see the color on this model). The market pricing on exotics seems to be dropping weekly with the state of the economy.

Thanks,

I think I was eying that car for a while when I was searching for a G. I personally haven't seen another G in that color, but up here in the Bay Area yellow and orange seem to be the common theme.

The way I feel about car deals is if YOU feel good about what you got and what you paid for it then it's a good deal. I mean if you look hard enough and wait of course there will be a "better" deal to be had. I paid slightly more for my '06 and I feel I got a "good" deal.

Your car is def an awesome color! Enjoy and drive in good health. Post more pics if you can.

you're right it's a pretty rare color, I remember trying to find another one in that color (lower mileage) but couldn't find one.

Love the color too. I'm keeping a close eye on prices for G's right now since I'm researching to find one of my own, and it seems that $145 is on the high side considering the mileage...but you did get a unique color, and it looks very clean inside & out plus a new clutch. Like Kirby said if you're happy with the price you paid, who cares?

I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. I guess I should have offered less.

That color is a Murcie color. It as all others are available on a G car, BUT only for a preium charge. Last I checked it was an extra $4840.00. So you have to take that into consideration with your purchase price, which I think you did well on.

I do KNOW of one other G car in that color, however it is in Vancouver B.C.

Enjoy it!!
