Newbie 2 the Forum - Need Advice

Hello Everyone. Hi, My name is Denise and I recently received the DIABLO as part of my Divorce settlement. I know nothing about it and registered on this site because I know my Ex-husband was also a Member. He was in the process of purchasing an extended warranty with and now that the car is ALL mine I was wondering if the members on this site have any experience with the company and if I should proceed with purchasing an extended warranty with them. Thanks 4 all the Help!

Also, what kind of insurance should I get for the car ( I plan on only driving it on the weekends ).

Hello Roy -

I believe its a 2001 Lamborghini Diablo Roadster with about 32k
I'm not interested in selling it now but will keep you in mind if or when I do

Denise, most insurance companies have policies that cater to "recreational use" vehicles. Our carrier offers less expensive policies based on the # of miles you drive the car. Plus, whomever you are with, best to keep all your vehicles under the same carrier for multi-car discount.

I dont mean to sound like an asshole or anything but here goes...
No offense but, this kind of stuff makes me angry. The guy probably loved this car and then lost it from the divorce. Now his ex wife has it and she's not even sure what year it is. Its kind of a waste of a great car. Why do women do this stuff?

Not at all pjb84. The woman's probably been spoiled as all h3ll and can't support herself now.

Looks like roytoy is all ready to snag the car for a steal because obviously the broad doesn't know sh!t about the car lol......

Why the h3ll didn't you take something else? You have a car you won't even use and probably can't drive.. sigh. A good reason I'll never get married.

I think its wrong to make assumptions either way. We don't know the story behind Denise and her ex and its really none of our business. This forum is here to help other owners with questions and issues with their cars. I understand that Denise began this by offering to discuss how she acqiured the car, but I think we as members should still take the high road and stick to Lambo related questions.
