For the time being I'm quite happy seeing Lamborghini focusing on their balance sheet. Once that is done I'm sure they'll put effort into redefining the brand with a Super Lambo. For now I'm very happy with Winkelman's vision for the company.

no doubt.

if they are going to do a "hypercar" i dont mind waiting one bit, once their future becomes totally secure i think well be seeing somethign a long those lines.

esp. since carbon fiber is going to make the car much more costly.

ok , i know , what you mean..

i just read an article...Lamborghini wants to produce in 2010 the next generation of Murci , which should be lighter , aggressiver , faster than enzo.

It will be also a limited production ( 200-400 cars in 2 or 3 years )

Lamborghini also tries to produce more different cars than ferrari...
If it works , then i would not be happy , because so many lambos will be on the road and many people would see lambos in every district..

Right now there are only 2 models!?!?! So you should be very happy.

Winkelmann vows Lamborghini will not grow too quickly. This
year, Sant'Agata expects to sell a record 2000 cars. `It would be
easy to sell more than 2000 cars next year, but I want a sustainable
business and we don't want to risk the brand. And I don't want
customers to have to wait longer than 12 months,' said Winkelmann.

i read in one of his interviews that he doesnt want total yearly production to exceed 2500 or so.

so no worries about lambo becoming an everyday item.
