My GTR vs a friends Aventador...I was on E85 low boost. We both used launch control.

The Aventator would have left you in the dust if you'd had carried on a few more hundred yards. 1/4 mile isn't the only measure of speed. These videos always just show that.

Of course it's not the only measure, but you could say the same thing for any race between two cars. I'm also not so sure the Aventador would have taken it soon after that, those GTRs can really pack heat and it looked like (to me) it was still pulling when they let up.

Granted the GTR doesn't have the top speed of the Aventador, but it will hold it's own.

I only posted because it was an extremely close race...I've raced the Aventador with my LP560, and it gets SLAUGHTERED.

My GTR on low boost is a perfect 'drivers race' for the Aventador in the 1/4 mile. We had another race (not sure it's on film) that was even closer...Back and forth the whole 1/4 mile and I edged him by 1/2 a car at the stripe.

For me the only thing that really matters is 0-100. That is the fun zone.
