Pretty much every single time others watch you deal with the impracticality of the car, whether it be stuffing the most basic things in the weirdest places, having to half open the door and contort half your body out of the car to reach the toll booth, have the ESP kick in when leaving a busy area hard on the gas and puddle along pathetically despite making loads of noise, etc, etc.

Yeah, that kinda makes sense. When people see the impractability of the car and then drive off in their civic shaking their heads!

I also get alot of surprise when people see how UN-Luxurious the car is, in ride, electronics, seat comfort, visibility....

I get people all the time doing the "finger circling" motion -- the sign to spin the tires. It's disappointing that I can't easily do that with this car, since it's awd, and I never turn off traction control. So, my reply is usually, "I can't, it's AWD!" lol Bit embarassing.

explaining that NOT ALL Lamborghinis have Lamborghini doors.

Also fielding the NO Lamborghini has a trunk it must be a kit question.

One time at about 11:30 PM I was driving back from a friends place in North Pole, AK to my place in Fairbanks, AK. Another couple of friends where following me. Suddenly I lost all power and the engine quit. I glided to a stop on the side of the Richardson Highway. I did not even try to see what happen as it was dark (winter). We piled into the other car went back to my house to pick up the car hauler and the Truck to tow the Jalpa. By the time we had been away from the car for 5 minutes I received a phone call from the MIlitary Police asking if my car had been stolen. I explained what happened and they said the MP would stay with the car until I got back.

Not 5 more minutes I received a phone call from the State troopers. Again asking if the car was stolen. I explained and he said he would stay with the car as well.

About 20 minutes later we get back to the car and there are two police cars lights going, blocking the slow lane so no one could get near the car. We pulled up dropped the ramp and they helped load the car... that was after everyone got pictures next to and in the car.

A little town with no other Lambos and they were very helpful.

That story doesn't sound embarrassing, it sounds like I'd be proud to be around such great people! And some were even cops! Woah!

Two stories...
First time driving my car, I went to fill up. I'm at the pump with my back to my car and the person next to me starts yelling! I turn around and my car has started rolling away! Luckily I was able to stop the car before anything bad happened.

The other story happened also while filling up. For some reason my gas cap unlock button sometimes doesn't want to cooperate, and it usually attracts a crowd as i go back and forth trying to get my gas cap open. One time a cop offered his assistance for about 5 minutes to help me get the gas cap open. Now I just rely on the manual pull string on the inside of the engine bay to open the gas cap to avoid any embarrassment.

Was giving my Spyder a bath (Nero Noctis) and I stumbled on the hose, fell against the driver's o/s mirror. Oh yes, that is a CAST aluminum assembly inside, and it snapped. Bought a non-matching mirror, disassembled it, and replaced innards in the Nero Noctis shell. Like new. But, OMG, taking off the door panel, installing, rewiring. Huge job, but it came out perfectly. I won't tell you how much this little stumble cost me. OUCH!
