Default Most embarassing thing you've done in your Lambo

I'll go first, and I hate to admit it, but here goes...

I pulled into a parking spot, and as usual, before I turn the car off, I like to give it a little rev. Well, this particular time, I FORGOT to switch to neutral!! Luckily, by the grace of God, I caught it in time with the brake before I nailed the car in front of me! I get out, and some guy with his girlfriend says, "lucky there was a curb there in front of you." I didn't hit the curb either, but still. How embarassing.

Interesting thread, but I think you'd get even more responses by asking: "What has your Lambo done to embarass you?" Like dying and failing to restart at a busy intersection and having to enlist the help of other drivers to push the car over to the side. That kind of stuff.

Getting a jump from an Honda CRV.

In the Best Buy Parking Lot.

That whole getting stuck at a light and getting a push thing, almost, happened on an E-gear test drive. The salesman couldn't tell me how to get the car into gear and the car wouldn't move. It eventually did, but it was a bit embarassing.

Try pushing it out of a parking lot in front of Balboni.

Paraphrasing a bit but it goes something like this

Me: "Nice to meet you Valentino! It's such an honour!"

VB: "WTF are you guys doing to that Gallardo?!?"

I hate when I am backing out of a parking spot, trying to go VERY slowly cuz maybe visibility is limited, and people are watching, of course, and I kill it.

I always think they must be thinking, "you should learn how to drive if you're going to have a car like that."

I know it's no big deal, but...

I've done the same thing, both backing out and eeking forward. I see it as being respectful to the car taking it slow. Its all too easy with soo much hp to overdo it. The clutch may not like it but better than slamming into something. It takes a lot to drive these cars carefully, what with such poor visibility and low ground clearance.

Do you mean the gas cap release knob? You must have seen the gauge to know you needed fuel.

For me it was just stalling it at a signal and realizing that it wont start unless I put my foot on the brake. I had just got the car that day.
