1. Had heating issue and changed my thermostat.. told them that repeatedly and they changed it again, after I told them it had a new one. 2. They were not able to fix my car after several days, but my independent could in less than 2 hours. 3. THE BIG ONE - Last time I was there was to replace a small window that the window tinter broke with a heat gun. Car was there about a week. My car has 3M clear bra. I was detailing the car a few days after I got her back and noticed the left front turn signal lens did not have a clear bra tape on it! I saw the installer do all the lights. What had happened is they broke the lens while moving the car in shop... changed the lens with a new one and did not tell me anything. If they said, "we had a minor accident and had to change the lens" I would have been OK with that..not a problem. But the fact they tried to cover it up pissed me off. It was the cover up more than the act itself. |

It is unfortunate that some have had less than perfect experiences however my personal experiiece with "Lamborghini of Dallas" was and has remained one of my best.
Jonathan Peck, Gary Seals, Terry, Michael, Tony, and the rest of the team were and have remained a pleasure to work with. Again I feel bad that some did not receive the same treatment as me because all I can say is "THUMBS UP". Edited by Shadowman After writing this and then reading my post it left me feeling like I simply scratched the surface. I should share that I have purchased a litney of cars including many quote "exotics" as such have been in and out of dealerships around the country. More times than not this process is handled over the phone as has been the case with the folks at "Lamborghini of Dallas". nevertheless, from the first chat that I had with Jonathan and then my subsequent conversations with Gary, the GM, Michael one of their master service techs, Tony their service and parts director................ they remained to a person attentive..... responsive...... always called me back or emailed me as promised....... In fact I will share that on at least one occassion I had the opportunity to chat with Craig; Lamborghini of NA eastern division dealer services representative and my feelings were re-enforced. Add to this the fact that the folks at Lamborghini of Dallas were afforded the opportunity to open another dealership in Houston with lamborghini's blessing and they accepted. So what I would say is that they "Lamborghini of Dallas" are worthy of a second chance if your experiece was less than steller ...... and if you have yet to commit to a dealership then they would the first place I would call. Remember that locating and purchasing the cars is the easy part.... it is the relationships that can be trying. My experience with "exotics" has been that having a great relationship with the dealership makes the ownership experience with "exotics" a blast.......... without good support it can at times become overwhelming and frustrating. Having read of the negative feedback from owners with the Lamborghini Dallas dealership I removed their website link on
In doing so it just occurred to me that what would be real useful to all of us if we had a rating feedback system where owners put up positive or negative comments of their experience at a dealership. In order for this to be effective multiple entries per dealer would be required to insure that somebody does not "sandbag" a dealer. For service comments a requirement is you must own a Lamborghini. This type of feedback system is common on the web for suppliers (e.g. electronic items) these days. If there is sufficient contribution I will put up a section on Questions that come to mind are:- Should it list positive and/or negative comments? Should it have a score or +++ system or actual comments Should the owner be required to add his/her name or initials? Should it be worldwide or US only Should the dealer be allowed to comment? Would like to get feedback on this. First on the concept etc. let’s hold off on comments on dealers for now. |

John,
we are working on a Dealer Feedback System as we speak. Due to Monterey and my accident things got temporarily stalled but will be back into production next week. If you would like you are welcome to be our 3rd Moderator of the Feedback section along with Detour Racing (David Enger) & GDAY |

After only a few posts I know that I am a new guy as such what I post is probably looked at closer and folks will attempt to see if I have an agenda. I do not and in fact I remain respectful of others posts particularly those that have vested more time to this board.
As many I cruise through a few sites regularly and then if I feel I can contribute I will make a post or a reply but my intention is never to cause a problem. I look for good sharing of information and experiences. Certainly being made aware in advance of a potential problem such as a less than scrupulous dealer is important to me too however I may be proven wrong but I do not think that this is the case with Lamborghini of Dallas. Do they walk on water…… doubtful……. Do most of the folks there mean well and want the experience to be a good one….. I think so…… yet through the course of the days issues arise that can if not careful become the mountain from a molehill scenario. Now let me be clear; if my window was broken regardless of how I would be extremely disappointed yet it sounds like it was an accident….. not a malicious act…….. would finding a turn signal replaced without my knowledge irritate me….. absolutely…..yet I will quickly share that it would have irritated me more if I had arrived to find it broken. Regardless, as the owner of the car shared I would have expected to have been informed of the incident……… did they try to hide the fact ….. doubtful……. They probably meant to say something and ……well……… it simply did not happen and then the fact that the clear bra was not there made the situation known as such the dealership was questioned…. and then embarrassment was felt. And then as another board member shared; all of this at whatever labor rate they charge……. We have all had situations where it simply does not go as planned but do we tie the person to a stake and set it ablaze… in a simple sort of way this appears to be happening. As I shared in the beginning of this reply…….. I am a new guy and maybe proven wrong……I do not expect this to be the case … however, I have eaten crow before and hope that meal is not presented to me as the result of the support I have given to Lamborghini of Dallas which is based solely on my personal experiences. Take care folks Shadowman |

Auto Dealerships are in existance for one reason and one reason alone. They are there to make money like any other buisiness. Too many guys fall in love with the car and believe that this love for the object of their affection, the car, must also be shared by the dealer/salesman selling them the car. This is where the car "enthusiest" gets it wrong. The dealer is not your "Friend", buddy, whatever, unless you have a personal relationship with someone there. Its a business! So many of the buyers are naive and a dealer can really exploit that. Check out the car as best you can, negotiate your best deal and get the hell out of there. If the dealer has a decent service department and they treat you fairly then use them or go some where else.
I don't know what it is about cars like Ferrari's, Lambo"s, etc but buyers get all dreamy eyed and excited and want to feel like the dealer is his "friend". Get over it! Unless your sharing a house with the guy he is not your friend. He is there to get as much money out of you and for his car as he can. Nothing wrong with that, its his job. If you are not up to the game you will get ripped. Your fault, not his. If there is a situation that develops where it will cost the dealer "more money", like when he breaks something on your car or whatever, you can be sure that he will do everything he can to minimize the cost on his side of the ledger and stick the rest to you. Now many of you may have nice working relationships with a dealer and maybe this dealer throws you a bone every so often and makes you "feel good". Well good for you. Just let a "money situation" develop and watch how your bud changes his attitude toward you. Hey you don't have to love the dealer to love the car. Love your wife and kids. |
