Default Lamborghini - 40 Years Book

OK guys.... just one simple question.... how much effort does it really take to "proof read" a book before its published?

I just got the latest Lamborghini book by David Jolliffe, and can't believe the errors I found on my first initial look.....

Examples:

Jalpa's are shown with 3480cc (instead of 3485cc)
Jalpa's are shown with compression of 10:1 (instead of 9.2:1)
Maserati Quattroporte is spelled "Quadroporte".
Jalpa Production numbers are shown as 421 (instead of 410) I guess this one is forgivable since I've seen 410, 411, 420 and 421 used elsewhere.

I thought I remember someone else pointing out some 350GT and 400GT errors too, but can't remember.

It would seem to me that anyone wanting to produce a book on Lamborghini would at least want to make sure everything was accurate before it went to the publishers.

And the book says it existed only one Jalpa Prototype, I have a picture on Jalpa.ch showing two of them side by side...

The Book is originally of Dieter Braun from Germany and full of errors.
A real shame, looks like he was reading through many books and copied all errors together

I was very disappointed and cannot believe that a book with so many errors was published. I normally read my Lamborghini books over and over but I'm sure I will be less likely to ever pick that book up again except to look at the pictures.....especially the one of the Yellow Miura in the mountains.

Paul:

I agree. The Miura shot in the mountains is wonderful!!! I also love the picture of the Diablo with the old woman standing in the doorway. Great shot!!!
