Lambo owners?

Over the last six months or so I have read quite a lot of posts by members who are apparently owners (often corroborated by pics) but who's status as being an owner is not mentioned in their 'title'. Any particular reason for this?
No criticism, just curiosity

When I purchased my Jalpa, it was required that I snap a pic of the VIN # in the door jamb or engine bay and pics of the car as well. This was actually required, per Raymonds instructions, to get my car on the Jalpa registry, but also seemed to activate the owner label on my member status.

when JRV was around the process was quike, but after the site was sold, that owner tytle thread hasnt recieved that much atension.

That is correct. We ask for pictures of different things. This way someone can't search the internet for images to pose as an owner. Plus the vin is a great way for us to make sure that the owner is who they say they are.

which pictures do i need to show to get "owner" title and who should I e-mail them to?

actualy my statment was wrong.. ever since the last time the site crashed.. it hasnt been the same.

way back, the owner titel was a link. you press it and it showed you the owners car..

but heck this is the best site when it comes to the garage section.

The garage section make this Lambo site one of the best. However, I have noticed that there is less functionality to the garage section since the site upgrade. For example, only one picture would show, the add comments link is gone, and the avatar does not show.

That's correct. It's been like this for while.
It was great when we could upload a few different pics, as well as taking a look to other's car.
