If we are talking about a countach or a classic lambo i would keep it standard. On the other hand a gallardo or a murcielago i would customise special colour, wheels, exhaust, chips, bodykit etc... make it my own, my own PERSONAL LAMBO.

Thanx for the advice. I hadn't heard of the JL audio clean sweep. Does the master volume knob look okay -- not out of place or awkward? Where did you recommend putting it?

Either way they will should fit flush and look factory. Assuming you go with the 6 1/2s, power them with a JL Slash V2 Series 300/2. Just about everyone will agree with me that these speakers are about the best in the bussiness. And from what I've seen, JL speakers are what Gallardos and Murci's are being sold with.
And in terms of the Ipod, I wouldn't go with the hardwired FM. I haven't heard good things about them. The product your going to want is a JL Audio Clean Sweep. It will let you directly connect an Ipod and give as good of sound as any other product on the market (Including after market head units). You keep your OEM head unit and connect Ipod to the Clean Sweep. This product also increases sound quality to your speakers. I won't bore you with how it does it, but with a quality set of speakers like the ZRs I mentioned, it will make a huge difference. Heres a link that will have all the info on the JL products:
http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_p...hp?page_id=134

After I read this post, I realized I probably sound like I work for JL. I have nothing to do with them. I have their products in my car and am blown away with them. But anyway I hope this helps, send me a message if you have any more questions.
Let us know what you end up doing

It depends on what else your going to add to the system. If your going to add the speakers/amplifier I would look into putting it in the trunk with the amplifier. Your going to need to connect it to the amp anyway, so I'm guessing that would be your best bet with a cramped interior. If your going to keep everything else and only add the Clean Sweep, I would put it under one of the seats. It's a pretty small unit and shouldn't interfear with anything. Maybe you could find a place behind the dash too, wich would be the better alternitive for either situation.
In terms of the volume knob, that is the one thing you won't get to look factory. That is most likely going to require cutting into the dash. If I was doing it, the first thing I would try is putting it next to the radio. You know that black surround that goes around the radio? It looks like you could probably fit it beneath the radio on that plastic there. Assuming the radio is the standard single DIN size, there won't be anything behind it and it should fit right in. It shouldn't look out of place there and is right next to all of the other audio controlls so I think thats your best bet.

I wish I had half the cash you guys have. I will own one of these sweet slices of paradise in the next year or so (yes, used)......but all I can think of is the joy of having people point and stop....watching the beauty of design and performance slide by....with the growl of power following in my wake. I can't afford the mod's....but I wish I was in your club. The only mod I can think of for my Lambo is a new driver............ME. You guys are the luckiest F^%$r's on the planet. Be seeing you soon.
