Seriously toying with the idea of doing the WHIPS thing and fitting some big rims on my Espada. Anyone seen this done before?

Sorely, sorely tempted to re-engineer the suspension (not 'dump it on the floor' or anything daft), just use a bit of accumulated suspension experience to make the car an even better GT.

As stated in an earlier post, there are various parts on the car I'd be tempted to re-manufacture myself rather than pursue OE bits. Not sure improvements like this constitute a 'mod'. Raw ally dash in the Espada S3 and its screw heads are a bit poor. Nice engine-turned pieces for the dash, centre console and to cover the faux wood door trim kick panels would look great. I've already got beautiful TVR turned aluminium cigarette lighters installed. Gas discharge headlamps are on the list ... bigger alternator ... beefed up green-gas air con ... uprated radiator ...

Default Basic Upgrades that Can be Downgraded

The upgrades that would be most appreciated would be Wheels (to change and have that one of a kind look) and exhaust (changing the note and sound). What's most attractive about these mods is that it can be reversed, unlike a lot of engine mods, interior changes, etc. Maybe go as far as changing shift knob...nah, nevermind.

I've had my car for six months and so far I don't think there is anything I could do to improve it.Maybe after some time, that will change, but for now I don't think Lamborghini could've made it any more *right* for my tastes than it is.

I think just some tasteful wheels and a nice exhaust to beef up the tone a bit doesn't hurt only because in my opinion the exhaust note for the Murci is a bit quiet for me. I wouldn't mess with anything else just because the car is fast enough the way it is and I'm sure lamborghini put ALOT of thought into things to balance out performance and reliability~
But for the extremists, Lamborghini Diablos and Murcielagos are decent for superchargers/turbos etc.. considering they are a lower compression motor, but just not for me is all~~

Thumbs up just a little

modifications done should be minimal, purist is still the way to go. maybe upgrade the wheels to some "kahn" carbon fiber rims (be out soon!) wing, stereo, and small tuner. most other mods tend to detract from the natural beauty of the car. i mean it really is a mechanical and physical work of art-it just goes fast also.

Thumbs up Lamborghini owners needed for interview

Hello - my name is Simon O'Connell, and I am working with Lamborghini, through the company I work for The Future Laboratory (www.thefuturelaboratory.com) to develop the next generation of Lamborghini vehicles.
We want to interview Lamborghini owners, particularly those of newer vehicles, but not exclusively, to help us understand the needs, desires, and motivations behind buying a super sports car. This interview can be done via e-mail or telephone and should take no more than 15 minutes. I hope you can help us in this hugely exciting project.

Simon O'Connell.

Change things that can be easily changed back. Thats what I'd do.

I was watching a video walk-around of the 2003 limited edition Murci that is being used in the Bullrun show on Spike, hosted by Goldberg....

and long story short they said they couldn't change the wheels/rims because it would throw off the differential b/c of the 4 wheel drive. Is that true?

Default Speaking of mods...'06 Balloon SE Gallardo

Hey all,
I'm new to the group having just purchased a problem child SE three days ago (see [url]http://www.lamborghini-talk.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=7086) ...anyway, I would like the truth about wheels. The techs at Lambo are telling me that as long as the car is under warranty, the fact that a car may have aftermarket wheels must be attached to the VIN. Seems that lambo has had problems with wheels out of tolerance for the 4 wheel systems (even if by only 1 mm). I would like to change mine but dont want problems with Lambo.
