well crap!
I just read this from another forum...any idea what he is talking about? Just test fit 06 Murcielago Roadster wheels on my 91 Diablo. The front wheels stick out about 4mm more than my stock wheels which is ok. The rears had me scared because they stuck out 23mm which didn't look like it would clear. I removed the coil-overs and lowered it 5+ inches and the closest in got was about 3mm. I think I will shave 3mm off of the fender lip in the small area that it gets close. Does anyone know if 6mm total gap is enough? Next thing to do is drill and tap my hubs from 12mm lugs to 14mm for the floating cone roadster lugs. Things I've learned with some help from Roy at Cats (Thanks Roy) Pre 97 Diablos hubs stick out a lot more then 97 later which are the same as all Murcielagos. All Murcielagos wheel styles have the same width and off-set. Just because thay fit my car doesn't mean that they will fit both sides of yours. Check that you have 23mm of clearance before you buy them and waste your money like I thought I did. Eurospares.com has the parts books on line for all Lamborghinis through 03 which I used to compare part numbers for different models to see what changed and when. Use Roadster lugs with Roadster wheels or they will come loss, Roy said it has happened. The car looks great, much more current, not dated. My cars red which I haven't saw the wheels on before only black.
