SE= Special Edition.

Ohhh, you mean SE in the generic sense of the word. Well, since Lamborghini had a specific model Gallardo called an SE, don't you think you could have desiganted this one in a better way ? Your explanation in the above post is fine, the wise-ass comment after the period is not.

BTW, if you look at SE's, what are the differences between Gallardos and Gallardo SE's? From what I know (humble......very humble opinions) is the roof (Nera has the matte finish), mirrors (Nera has matte mirrors), and interior (cross hatched stitching and added limitted edition touches) are all differences. Yes, Lamborghini gave this limited edition Gallardo a name, but would this qualify as an SE? BigBad Wolf- educate me (not sarcastic). I plan to buy a Lamborghini within the month and that is why I joined this forum- for educaion.

Ok bro, no harm, I was just pointing out that particular car is not an actual SE model & I thought the comment was a little glib. As for your Q's: the Gallardo SE was a specific production lot of 250 cars in 2006 recognized by the paint scheme (black top,mirrors,lid), SE interrior (color specific), & callisto rims. These cars also came standard equipped with more options than an ordinary 06 Gallardo. Those 250 are the only cars that will ever be referred to as 'SE' by lamborghini. There may be many other 'special editions' produced in limited quantities, but those 250 are and will be the only actual 'SE' Gallardos. So, no the limited production Nera is not an SE. Here's what I think of the 07 Nera. The G car has always looked somewhat 'mean' to me. It has an agressive styling; couple that with a flashy color (orange, green, yellow,etc), & it definately stands out in a crowd. I think the Nera brings a new level of 'class' to the G car. The glass black with matte accents coupled with the soft diamond tucked interrior makes for a very classy looking G car. Sure it still looks mean, but to me, also classy. I love it.
