Default Hypothetically speaking... can you drive in the winter?

I was just wondering if these vehicles are at all capable of driving through the snow... assuming they were equipped with winter tires and all.

Heck, DO they offer some sort of winter tires for these cars, or is it just out of the question entirely?

I've driven an IS250 in winter with winter tires, and good god, barely any control at all - so I assume that would be similar with a Lambo. But assuming the snow isn't that deep (just a decent layer) and with winter tires, can a Lambo survive the winter, or are exotic engines just not designed at all for the cold weather?

I know my cousin has an 08' Porsche 911 C4S and he got this full winter package - which I was surprised that existed.

Curious to know. Thanks.

They can make it in the winter. The question is, do you have the balls to actually DRIVE it in the winter?

I will let other members post their experiences with their Lamborghini's in the snow, wait for Roy Cats, I am sure he has quite the experience with this!

Biggest issue tends to be other drivers.
I daily drive my 911 turbo in the winter - I just put on Pirelli Sotto Zero';s - with the AWD and PASM - it performs pretty decently.
But I do not go out on just fresh snow - other driver's are slippin' and slidin' around, so their mistake becomes your damage. As well - if it is late in the winter with a lot of melting and refreezing, the ruts on side streets can be pretty hard on your low clearance.
Else enjoy!!

Pirelli sells winter tires for the G. Lambo makes these an option when buying the car. Lambo puts on winter driving schools in Europe.

Yes, some drive them all winter long. The ones with deep pockets, huge balls, or the ones that do not have another car.

Do a youtube search for "Gallardo snow". A bunch of videos come up, including the Veyron on snow. There was a snow driving class offered in the US a couple years ago for Gallardo owners.

All wheel drive cars with traction control do well in the snow. More a matter of ball size.

Well then, I guess I was proven wrong.

So I guess the question now is - does anyone on here drive their Lambo's in snow?

Look for the 'My Diablo' thread by 'Simon says'. He drove a 2WD '91 Diablo through snow from the UK (where people drive on the wrong side of the road ) to Belgium. That takes steel balls
