Default How to they ride?

I'm fairly new to the forum and have just been lurking for the past few weeks but had a question. I was talking to a friend of mine about lamborghini's and he said when he drove one of his friends that it was very uncomfortable and bumpy? At first I thought it was just his opinion but I figured you guys would know best

I would compare it to the ride of a porsche gt3, somewhat stiff, but in a good way, not so comfortable you can't feel the road and what the car is doing.

Not driven a Gallardo, but would think it may be a bit more soft than the Murci. Only had a brief experience in a lp640

If you think ride is too harsh all is forgotten when you hear the exhaust of any Lamborghini!

04's were a little wooden, but gave really good feedback. The 06's seem to bit a touch softer. The 08 Superlegerra is somewhat harsh, but I don't think it's bad at all.

The 560 is like an Audi A8. Really good all around. I do think they offer a sport setup for the 560 that may add stiffer springs or shocks.

Overall, I don't think any of the Gallardos ride harsh.

your friend is incorrect...its like a corvette equivalency for comfort...i'm a big dude...six feet and two and a quarter and i have comfortably cruised to the beach 45 minutes each way...i would agree also with the comment comparing the feel to a porsche...my suggestion go sit in one....even before i owned one i walked right into a dealer without an appointment and sat inside one on the show room floor...the salesmen are surprisingly cool about it

Early Diablos are super stiff and unforgiving.

Yeah exactly the way they're suppose to be, sports cars are suppose to have a stiff suspension, but I guess the new generation want's more comfort.

theres stiff and then there is stiff...

with modern 19's/20's with low profile tires rides are rougher than on smaller wheels with fatter tires. doesnt matter what kind of suspension you have, more fatness to the tire leads to a softer ride.

We have a C6 and 04G. For us, the two are like night and day in comfort, driveability, and just about everything else. Both have distinct advantages over the other. Maybe it just depends on the human driving the machine. People are built in different sizes and with different cushioning. As mentioned above, a test drive is the ONLY way to be sure.

Thanks for your replies! Personally I wouldn't care how it rides, just the roar of the engine is good enough for me xD

I didn't by mine for comfort, but it is not that bad. It really depends on the surface I'm driving on.
