Smile Help Needed: I am in love with a ... Gallardo!

Hi everyone, first post and already asking for help

I am the proud owner of a Maserati GranSport but recently went to my local Lamborghini dealer for a test drive of a Gallardo.

Since then, I can't stop thinking about it and I'm in serious need of being talked into not buying it, if I want to preserve my marriage and finances LOL!!!

Seriously, I am yet to figure out whether to go for it or not.

Dealer is offering a well specc'd showroom model (with zero miles on the clock) for JPY22m (against a list price of JPY 25.5m) and I am very tempted to trade in the Maser.

If you see me post again, I think I'll have done the deed

Cheers!

New Gallardo is aleady launched with facelift - that is the reason that there is the discount (probably)

Absolutely. The model has yet to arrive in Japan (due this summer according to the dealer) but prices of the current stock will plummet by then.

Perhaps a case of playing the waiting game?

I think so too
You have my sympathy, like anyone else who falls in love with the Lambo
Your English is great too, not obvious for someone with your mother tongue.

BTW, this is the review I wrote of the car after my test drive (links to another forum, hope it's ok): http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/other-marques/109953-lamborghini-gallardo-test-drive-review.html

Nothing you don't know I am sure

I hear you mate

I think the family issue can be dealth with, plus we have a family car anyway.

It's the residuals that worry me a lot. Delear is offering a 13% discount from the on-the-road price, but I think it needs to be more like 20-25% given come July, no one will want the car

Thoughts?
