My wife and I took the lambo to a steakhouse today to eat an early supper and I it was very quiet and not busy at all. The backside of the building has alot of windows so I decided it would be smart to park the car back there so I can keep an eye on it. Not a single car was parked in that area, and there was about 15 open spaces in the usual sidelot.

But for some reason this always seems to happen. After about 15 minutes of being there, all alone, 2 people decide to park their cars on both sides of mine. Now, there is the ENTIRE parking lot open to them. I don't get it.

I watched them do it. Thankfully they were safe with their doors and apparently admirers of the lambo as they took a few pics and walked around it a bit. But I wonder why they decide to do it.

In their minds are they thinking, "Oh cool, I get to park beside a Lamborghini! Don't get to do this every day."? And I can understand that part of it. Or are they doing it to "protect" it? That's cool too I guess. Or is it some way to indirectly try to piss off the owner of the car? lol

Anyway, it's interesting to wonder.

Ooo Flames!!!

The weather is absolutely beautiful here in Melbourne, Australia at the moment so I decided to go on a nice afternoon drive.

The sun is shining brightly warming up wherever it touches while there is a cool breeze running through the air.

I decided to go on a drive in my mums C class and happened to see a pearl yellow Murcielago roadster going passed at what wasn't an insignificant rate of speed.

I pulled out almost straight after him and he was already ~50 metres away and didn't appear to be slowing down.

I stomped the accelerator and the supercharger propelled me towards the Lamborghini, getting me to 100km/h in about 7 seconds. Then I started slowing down because Mr.Murcielago was slowing down.

Pulled up beside him at a traffic light and complimented him on the gorgeous car. Asked whether he would mind launching it for me and surprisingly he just said "Coming right up, mate".

Put it in launch control and took off with a little bit of wheel spin and a symphony. I sat at the traffic lights for almost 5 seconds after the light turned green, just admiring him disappearing haha.

Was a great experience.

Speaking as a 19 year old car fanatic. I've done ths. I do this out of admiration and protection WHEN there are only a few spots open, one being next to the car being admired. But I make sure to park almost on the line on the other side to give plenty o' room. Wouldn't want some wanker to come whip his little '92 civic right up next to your door and potentially damage it.

I just got my '08. Do you know (or direct me) how to a) re-set the clock, b) program the garage opener, and c) program the phone to the Bluetooth. I have the manuals, but so far I'm being unsuccessful.

As for your questions, I don't know how to do any of them...I don't bother with any of that trivial stuff - I just drive the car. lol

So took a trip to the mall and lookie what I came across!...a super rare LP570 with a 6-speed manual!...oh my!

Major props to the owner, cuz you know he bought it for pure driving fun, as he could have easily settled for the typical/common E-Gear!

Better hurry before Underground Racing snatches it up! This is probably one of the few 6-speeds that UGR hasn't grabbed. Roy had a black 6-speed 570 that I would have jumped on if I had the money and was hoping it would be available down the line, but UGR snatched it up and ran away with it!
