Question Gallardo will not start-need info

Beautiful day out started up my Gallardo-the OK light flashed on(auto check)- like normal then the driver info screen went blank-clock went out,no odometer reading,no tach reading or speedometer reading.the radio worked, and so did all the gages-except speed and tach. I shut off car
figured fuse was blown on instrument panel. Did notice panel covering for fuses was missing-(just at dealer for service). I replaced this fuse with fuse of same amp rating fuse 5 amp fuse#21.( Old fuse fell into car could not see if it was blown). Replaced the fuse then tried to start car-car turns over will not start. Looked through manual can't find anything about resetting electronics.
Car does not have alarm option.Any ideas?

Oh my, I'm thinking that when you pulled the fuse you triggered an on board secucrity fucntion. Please call your Dealer on Monday and odds are they can walk you thru a restart program.

thanks,
why dont they ever put this stuff in their manuals-said nothing about it when the manual talked about fuse changes-but I think it is definately security related.

Possible cure: press un-lock on the key fob >>> insert the key into the ignition slot >>>turn key to ON position , then turn key back to OFF position and remove the key. Now try to start the vehicle.

Steve, if the manuals spelled out how to bypass all the security functions then thieves could simply purchase a maneul on ebay and start their own used car biz on the cheap...

Definately security related (jrv you are right, just frustrated at that time)

car is being picked up by dealer this Friday-they received a zip file code from factory and this needs to be loaded into the car computer. A lesson learned, if its electronic-dont touch it!Security is too good.

ps -wiz I know where there is a 6.0 diablo
