Gallardo Ripoff?

Is it just me, or does the 2008/2009 Lotus Esprit look uncanny to the Gallardo?

I guess thats the price you pay. Copying is the best form of flattery. Consider it a more affordable imatation. $200,000 is a lot of money to swallow for the finest car on the planet. If one isnt so fortunate, this is not a bad alternative.

Lotus has always copied Lamborghini. You can see it in a lot of there stuff, including paint colors.

I think they just photoshoped old Gallardo pictures. Im sure it wont look like one in production.

first 2 pics are defanatly photo shop's of of Gallardo pics... and i think they look good.. but not for a lotus...

the 3rd seems right... and looks more like the lotus..

what do u guys think??

I've always liked and owned an Esprit, thought the styling was pretty original, but I don't like any of those pictures whatever they are.

think i saw an actual sketch of the upcoming esprit, which is going to be an astounding performer.

also lotus has always been very original, to say that they copy lamborghini based on a few OBVIOUS photoshops is simply wrong, and denegrates both brands, which are both of the highest order.
