A marketing ploy that while successful monenitarly does not improve the breed. Audi, undeniably has a strong engineering background and when desired racing heritage. However their commitment and follow thru has mysteriously been lacking. The real question is will the two be better together than the sum of their former parts. At this point the outcome doesn't seem obvious which natuarally causes concern for Lambo guys. Let's hope the future lies somewhere in the vision of Enzo Ferrari when being interviewed after building the Daytona: " What is Your Greatest Car, Enzo, "The One I Haven't Built Yet" !
I guessed that might be the reasoning behind the Audi comments. Its totally understandable, I'm sure many Aston and Lotus owners went through similar feelings of doubt and suspicion when their marques were bought by larger companies with a much broader product focus. I don't really feel in a position to comment as I'm so new to Lamborghini, but speaking personally i don't think i would have switched out of the F car without the Audi influence being present. I see Audi perhaps in a different light to most, as it was part of my up bringing along side many many marques which sadly no longer exist.

Thanks Guys!

I'm disowning him at the moment as hes just been signed up as an official Nascar artist. Selling out i keep telling him He's still keeping a hand in with F1 work, but still focuses heavily on historic racing.

I'm working on getting him to do a large montage of the cars Ive had, parked in a fantasy drive or on a track paddock.

He's done private commissions for clients but nothing commercial that i can remember. He's a very noncommercial minded guy to be honest and really just loves doing what he does and has become pretty successfully on the back of being good rather than commercially smart.

An example being, one of his paintings hangs behind the Desk of Enzo Ferrari, but he didn't think to mention that fact to potential clients as a way of a testimonial!!!

We should ban you for being remotely affiliated with Nascar.
