Default Factory will do an EAST COAST "Giro"

Some of you may have heard, "they are thinking" or "they are".
I talked to Italy today
There will be a Giro this year in Pocono!!
And here are the dates for the drive.

June 18th arive at "Skytop"
19th we drive North thru the mountains and back around to home "Skytop"
20th same but heading South.
In conjunction the Le Belle Macchine D'Italia is Sat the 21st thru the 23rd (Pocono speedway 22nd & 23rd ) not sure if we go 23rd ?

Pricing and other minor details are being "tweeked"

Please stay tuned. “The Factory” is getting some final details done. A web site will be launched VERY SOON for “registration”.

Default Giro East is official

Sorry for my delay. I've been a little busy.



This event is open to only 30 spots (10 are remaining)

You can sign up with ANY Mid-West or East coat dealer. I am happy to assist you if needed.

Where: Sky top PA
When: June 18 till June 20th FOR THE DRIVE PORTION
This is all a rough out line
Lodging, food, all included Wednesday thru Friday night. Check out Saturday.
1st Day: Arrive on Wednesday the 18th : Dinner (where TBD) Sky Top PA

2nd Day: Driving thru the North Appalachian Mountains spend the night at (Pocono Resorts, Pennsylvania Mountain Hotels - Skytop Lodge & Resort )

3rd Day: Mountain roads thru the South Appalachian Mountains and arrive at Skytop Lodge (Pocono Resorts, Pennsylvania Mountain Hotels - Skytop Lodge & Resort )

Additional costs see attached sheet. (Please don’t forget you’ll need a room for Saturday night)
If you’d like to stay for Le Belle Macchine d'Italia ( Untitled Document ) see the show or put your car in
4th day Le Belle Macchine d'Italia
5th day Pocono International Speedway 3 turns on the oval and out to the out field.
6th day: There is another day at the speedway. (I will most likely Check out from hotel on Sunday morning then go to track and come back for my bags)

Rich,

Count me in. I faxed over the registration form today.

I participated in the west coast Giro last fall. That was a great experience and I'm glad I did it. Could it have been better? Yes - I would have liked to spend more time driving cars and less time looking at them lined up on a golf course green. Plus I would have liked to save the cost of the air fare and shipping the car across the country and back. So this east coast event looks like a winner.

For those of us in the upper midwest, I hope we can put together a caravan to the event. Something that would start in (or pass through) Detroit and pick up additional cars along the way across northern Ohio. This would extend the driving portion of the event by another day or two.
