Default E-Gear or 6 Speed

I have found a primo 08 Gallardo Coupe in the color I want but it is a manual.
I have only owned manual HP and exotics but I also hear the egear is awesome. Since I am about to pull the trigger, may I have some opinions please?
Is the resale on a manual difficult?
Thanks to all that respond.

That surely depends on who you ask. 6 speeds are becoming more sought after since they are being phased out. E-Gears are more plentiful.

This may be extreme but munch on this before you decide.

eGear actuator failure... $24,000 to fix... !!??

Thats very interesting. I dont see too many 6 speed failures but I do see some egear issues. That all being said, I am sure the egear owners love the paddles. I might just miss them.

So, would the clutch last longer with egear than the manual since it is engaged by electrical component?

As has been stated over and over it's all about how you drive. There are threads on this ad nause um, so do a search.

Roy posted somewhere are the proper way to treat an E-gear. If you follow his advice I'm sure you can get many thousands of miles from it, provided it doesn't have any inherent problems to begin with.
