Default Driving

OK be honest, how many of you are flinching when you want to drive your pride and joy, but the cost of filling her up makes you think twice?

I'm wondering especially about the Southern California contingent, you guys are really paying for all that nice weather now.

Since I don't drive mine all that much, I've not cut back.

You can't put a price on driving around in a Lamborghini.

If anything I hope the price of gas helps alleviate some traffic and giving the Countach more space than ever.

No change in my driving habits. I've got almost 3,500 miles on my LP Roadster in 4 months. I bought my car to drive it.

I drive up from the Newport Beach Fairmont where I stay with my car. I keep it at LOC. The drives are about 70 miles, plus the 150 miles round trip from the hotel to the Calabasas dealer and back. We end up a little closer to home at the end, but not by much. I'm usually at the Fairmont for a week, about every second or third week and I use my LP as my daily drive. Walter is a little closer to the start.

Gas is about 9.60$ a gallon here, so what do you mean it's expensive there?

i have a few friends that have there own gas staition. they told me that the gas on average costs them about 1.40 a gallon after taxes. the government and these gas stations are cleaning up. we have more gas now then we ever have before. if you remember a couple years ago the government was feeding us the bs line about how we are running out of gas and in five years we could be out. somehow almost 7 years after that and all of a sudden we have plenty of gas and now there just finding out different ways of raising prices. excuse after excuse. like tommyjames said you buy the cars to drive, not to sit. i have a couple of bikes as well which doesn't cost nearly half as much to operate. i just think it is lame for them to kill us on gas and make up all these reasons why its gone up but nothing productive has come out of it. sorry for the rambling i just think the whole gas thing is bogus!!
