I was concerned when I heard this and spoke to several dealers. I also spoke to the Lambo Tech Rep for North America.

The discontinued items are things like screws, bolts, brackets, etc. If you look at the parts book you will see Lambo has a part number for a simple screw that you can buy anywhere...does not make sense to stock it.

They are moving to a new and larger facility and implementing a new computer system for parts management.... just cleaning house of obscure items.

Normal wear and tear items (oil pump, water pump, you name it) will still be available.

I copied and pasted some of the part numbers into lambostuff.com VERY important parts such as door panels, door mirrors, engine parts are in fact scheduled for deletion as confirmed on Lambostuff's site too. Don't know what more proof you guys need.

If you mean that you cross-checked the Motor-Cars International list into the Lambo-stuff website, then that still doesn't mean much at all! Motor-cars is using the simple house-cleaning (screws, bolts, etc.) that many of us have confirmed through other dealers as a marketting tool to sell parts. Obviously, we're all interested in seeing a viable parts supply continue. I don't accept that spreadsheet as proof of anything; it's just a list of parts that Motor Cars has prepared which they chose to publish.

Go to Lambostuff, and do a search for "clutch" to get an idea of the important parts discontinued. Jason confimed through E-mail

Not to come across as being rude, but, again, does ANYONE on this forum, have ANYTHING on Audi letterhead that states what is being posted on this forum is indeed fact!?! Are there any reps from Audi or an authorized Lambo dealer on this site that can confirm this??

Chad- what is the big secret?????? Is Audi afraid people will stop buying cars they don't even produce and receive no profits from??????????

And, again, I'm not trying to be rude, but you did at one time tell me that you had a direct source from Italy that told you Lamborghini was no longer producing the turn signal assembly for the pre-airbag Diablo and that my part on backorder with the dealer would be on perpetual backorder (due to the fact that the mom-and-pop operation that supplied them stopped doing so when they switched to airbags and had to reconfigure the assembly.) My part arrived at the dealer from the factory one week after you told me this.

Default Lambo parts

Hey, I cannot be right all the time
I was just telling you what Lambo told me. Hey this is an Italian outfit right, and sometimes the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.

But as to the list of parts, I am right on that.
I was asked to bid, but don't have the around $18,000,000.00 it might take to buy all of it. They said it was on the books at $27,000,000.00.
Hey, if anyone out there wants to buy it all, speak up and I will make a bid.
In truth if I were to make a bid, I would bid in the $12-14 mil range. Next problem would be, where in the heck would I put all those parts. Heck I would have to build a building just for that, or buy one.

Chad- thanks for the follow-up and I hope you know that there was no disrespect intended. As a Diablo owner, I am very frustrated over this at the moment as there seems to be a lot of talk on this subject but nothing from the factory to back it up.

1. Yes, there is a push to sell parts...
2. No disrespect, but Jason/lambostuff/J&J Concepts is not an authorized Lambo dealer... nuff said
