Hello,

I rolled up my window on my 94 VT when the door was open, I guess I should have not done that, it seemed to come off the track. I lifted up the window and it went back in place and rolls up nice and tight now, but it is loose now. You can lift it 2" with your hand up and down now! Am I stuck pulling the panel off to tighten the window, or is there a trick to lock it tight in place?

A friend of mine has a 91 Diablo with a similar problem.

In his case it turned out to be a bad window regulator ( the device that rolls the window up and down).

I have been told this is a common problem on the early cars.

Get it attended to quickly. If the glass drops while you are driving and happens to break, it will become more expensive quickly.

Thanks for the heads up, but I did get it fixed today! A little pain in the A$# getting to one bolt on the handle but got if off and fixed. The bracket that holds the back part of the window fell off, so replaces a few bolts and good as new.

I now know how to take off the panels, not fun but very workable with my friend also helping.
