i dont think lambo would deliver this car if it were not mecanichaly sound

just my opinion..( not worth much)

we are talking about my favorite factory right..lool
Kind of scary now that Balboni himself has also wrecked one during a photoshoot of all things

If this car is a handful for Balboni, makes you wonder how many more wrecked ones we will see once it's officially released

I think the little ditty on Balboni was in the latest Road&Track? Anyway, he did not really "wreck" it, just took a corner with a little too much tail, and dinked a metal sign. Too many making too big of a deal about this, cars get wrecked, or dinked, even by the best drivers in the world. If they didn't, you'd never see wrecks in racing - remember, these guys do this for a LIVING, and everyone can have a bad day at work!

The more HP they put in these cars the more wrecks your going to see, it's as simple as that. This is why I fear an eventual backlash sooner or later. I still think you CAN have too much HP for street use and it's just too easy for it to get away from even accomplished drivers.

i think we need more details, it could be just an enthusiasm for driving the car harder, becouse of the new spec's

im still optamistic. even thought i beleive the last true lambo was the 6.0

**** **** ****

after hearing the case with balboni i am afraid that lamborghini will put a limiter to the lp640 or decrease its horsepower.
that would piss me off.
i hope they fix the problem by modifing the body and not the engine

I have heard enough about the Balboni thing. I talked to him about it last week and it was nothing. A small mark on the bumper and a cracked tail light...big deal!! Most of us have suffered more damage in the garage. Also the reason for that "incident" was that there was gravel and sand on that corner. This has been blown way out of proportion. Now the other two cars were definitely wrecked. Also, I agree with Raymond there is such a thing as too much horsepower.
