Default Countach vs Gallardo

Just curious how fast an 89-90 25th Aniv Countach is - say in comparision to a gallardo - would it take that much of a beating?

totally different, not even from the same Worlds.

Countachs are Fast, but it's a different kind of fast. Hard to put into words how different they are.

Can't comment on an Anniversary Countach but I did have a new 88,1/2 Countach and now own a G. Countach was one of the worst ownership experiences I have ever had. Bought new in 1989, sold in 1992 with less than 3k miles, 4 flat-bed rescues, three fires and a stubborn leaking fuel system. My G turned one year this week; wonderful car, no problem in 3K+miles. Countach is awesome .....on a poster.

Wow - I guess it all depends on the car - sorry to hear you had so much trouble - these g's are bulletproof - Audi knows what they are doing

Sorry to hear this, my CT covered now 44t Km, I've friven 33t of them and had only one flat-bed because of the electrical system.

My car has almost 500bhp and runs as good as a diablo, the G is clearly faster.

When Frank Sinatra got his Miura S in 1970, he said: “If you wanna be someone, buy Ferrari - If you are someone, you own a Lamborghini”.
