Default Countach vs Diablo

I am planning another Lambo purchase. My question is that I'm torn between the Countach and the Diablo. This is not about the investment or resale value but more about performance. I would like to hear from someone who has owned both at one time or another and hear their opinions. Thanks in advance.

I owned a Countach along side my Jalpa and my father has a 91 Diablo. I have driven all three back to back many times. For me, I much prefer the driving experience of the Countach believe it or not. It is more masculine to sit in, and the clutch and shifting require a more thoughtful touch which I like.
The Diablo is excellent as it addressed the shortcoming of the CT by having windows that open and better visibility and of course is faster. Just opinion of course, but I would drive a Countach 7/10 times over a Diablo. It also draws a bigger crowd at coffee.
Love them both but the CT takes if for me.

I love my Countach more but performance wise the Diablo would absolutely destroy the Countach. Plus it is nice to have power windows that go all the way down. Especially when paying tolls which I do everyday. In the Countach I have to open the door. Rear visibility is better in the Diablo as well.

Of course the Diablo is the newer better etc. but as some already stated the driving experience is more thrilling in a CT.
Performancewise the Diablo is not that superior, I drove already 2wd, 93-VT, SV and VT6.0.
They best Diablo IME is the VT6.0, lovely carbon dashboard, perfect brakes and a lot of torque.
The early diablos remind me a lot on the CT with a huge back end which makes it difficult to drive in narrow roads.

That's one big advantage of the CT, it's much less wide, the overall width with mirrors is 2m whereas the Diablo is about 2,25m.

Thanks for all the great responses. I'm leaning towards the CT.
Oh and BTW the Jalpa is not for sale.

If you get a CT, than all that will be left will be an LM and you'll have the 80's covered!
