Default Cornado Trail

Me Allan and Scott decided to go for a long drive on monday. What we didn't expect was what happened! I knew the day wasn't going to go well when I forgot my gas cap at the gas station. A plastic bag and a rubber band fixed it and we where on are way. We made it about 250 miles to Heber (from PHX) when allan's SE decided that it's rear passenger tire looked better in two! The tire seperated and allan managed to get the car of the road without further incident. After an hour wait the SE was on a flat deck back to PHX. About 50 miles later Scott's Yellow Gallardo decided that it wanted to have tire problem's also. The front driver side tire looked like it had a tumor coming out the side of it! We called a flat deck and his Gallardo was off to PHX. 2 down and 1 left. Me and my GF continued driving, we made it all the way through the Cornado trail which is an AWSOME drive!!! I did run into some compact ice but the allwheel drive made it an easy drive. However my GF did not like the 500 corners in 123miles so she puked up her lunch! I finally made it back to PHX 14 hours and 600 miles later. It was a long drive but well worth it. Allan and Scott, good luck with the tires. Here's some pic's

The view and the pictures are great. Sorry about the miss fortunes. However, everything happens for a reason and it just may have saved a life!! Obviously, there was a lot of "spirited" driving in order to have numerous tire issues. Better luck next time.

The yellow gallardo has had tire issues before and the orange SE is almost brand new. I was so mad at myself for leaving the gas cap but I got a new one allready! I hit 38,000k on my speedo after this trip, the G is still running great. Also I have 29,000k on this clutch, I don't know if this is a record but I;m very happy!
