Hello my name is Gill i'm a new member on the board.
I'm 16, i know to most of you i'm just an immature dreamer, but I have a true love for Lamborghini's. My ultimate dream is to someday own a 2001 Diablo 6.0 SE ![]() Ok back to the original topic. What is the best compliment you guys have ever gotten while driving your Lambo. (I was on the Nissan 350z board andthey were claiming to get laid and all these other ridiculous thing, so I figured if they get that in a NISSAN, what kind of compliments lambo owners would get.) |

Gill, Like you when I was 16 I always wanted a Lambo....especially after watching the movie Cannonball run...maybe too old of a movie for you. Just bought my first Lambo 3 months ago, I am now 32. I bought a titanium 2001 Diablo 6.0. Absolutely love this thing! Just stay focused on your career and goals and one day your dream will come true. Good luck!

Hi
Where I am from in Australia, there are no Lambos. There are very few Lambos at all over here. I have had people driving behind me for 30 minutes or more. One time I pulled up into a petrol station to fill up and this girl almost begs if her boyfriend can stand beside the car and her take a photograph. I let them both sit in the car while I took the photo. They were both beside themselves when they hopped out. The compliment is more that people are expecting you to be a prick and not acknowledge them but when you do acknowledge them, they are very surprised. I have had someone say to me that it must be a pain in the neck to have people wanting to take photos of the car and even sit in it. My thought is if I didn't have a Diablo, I would hope someone would let me take a photo of their car. Before I bought this Diablo, I tried to buy another one where the fellow not only didn't acknowledge me but I didn't even sit in the car. Bit hard to buy a car when not even being allowed to touch it. I always said after that experience that if I ever did buy one that I wouldn't be a prick to anyone. As what abunawafff said, it is girl central with one of these cars and people always have great things to say about it. It is one of the best experiences I have ever had. Sorry for the waffling on but don't be a prick when you get one mate. Only a few of us will have the opportunity in life to own one of these. In peoples eyes you have money and they expect you to be a prick. Surprise them. Well it is like that over here in Australia. Good luck mate. Bruce VT |

There are a couple of Ferrari's where I come from and frankly the owners do think they are something special. (No offence to anyone who has a Ferrari and don't think they are something special). Real shame though. They won't let people any where near their cars. Maybe that is why they made only a few Lambos so the descent people would purchase them. Just my dig. I do know some people with Ferraris who are great people though. Funny thing is they have a Lambo as well.
One more thing. Where I come from, Bull s*^t is more expensive than horse s*^t. Nothing to do with anything in general. Just a bit of trivia. I think Lambos win all round. Bruce VT Last edited by Bruce VT : 06-20-2008 at 12:36 AM. |
