Walt,

Yes I was going to mention that I use the Plexus and then I also use "Showtime" by Mothers. It is a spray detailer that works extremely well. I have not used a polish on the clear bra at all. I know that showtime enhances it after the Plexus for sealing, but not too sure what a polish might do.

I hope to get some nice photos this weekend and if so I will post some of them.

Aloha Russ

I have a clear bra on my Lotus. I wouldnt remove it for anything but my biggest gripe is wax getting caught on the edges if your not careful.

Crap. Last weekend I washed the car and scratched the bra. Not bad - about 3 inches long. Where can I get Plexus, and do I use it on the rest of the car? By the way, what suggestions do you have for a good wax - if you don't use Plexus on the entire thing? Thanks.

Meguiars 2.0 Tech Wax. Do not get the paste but rather the spray. Very good product.

MArket top,

I don't use plexus on anything but the plastic, it will not hurt the paint so they say but it looks lousy when I get over spray on it. I always use a detailer spray after using plexus on both the bra and the paint!

You can get it online just google it. As far as what is the best product I am sold on Zaino it is really one of the best if not the best. You can call them and they will give you all the advice you want. You can actually speak to one of the brothers. Mothers is good as well and I also like Meguires.

DarkoX is right I never use paste anymore only liquids and most of the time just deatailer spray.

I have used Plexus on both plastic and paint twice already, and I am pleased with the results. It is so easy to apply,no buffing needed. It applies like an armor-all, and no visible streaks at all, on any angle, sunshined or shaded. Maybe because my car is yellow. Your car being dark probably show more streaks, IMO.

Wild,

That is a good description, it is kind of like Amor-all in some ways and yes with black it just doesn't work well on the paint. The funny thing was when I got the car it came with this can of Plexus in the front boot and I had no idea what it was for until I called the dealer. From what they told me it works as a sealant that it very important for preservation of the bra material.

Not wanting to sound like an idiot. But, I view the installation of clear bar on a european car to be similar to having tinted windows....LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Ventureshield is the way to go. It's more expensive than other films, but I think its worth it. Superior shine and texture.
