Cleaning out my Cats..........

After inspection one of my cats was kind of shot inside so I decided to clean out the other one to balance out the exhaust..By removing all the baffles inside and leaving them in just bare how much Hp will I gain?

PS..Is there any problem other than passing inpsection that I might incur doing this..

I hope by "cleaning out my Cats" you mean removing all the Matrix and not just giving them a bubble bath!!

Removing all baffle materials leaving the cats empty inside..Now any intelligent thoughts?

My 92 were hollowed out...you'll gain but not much...car should run cooler.

Just did Tubi with Test Pipes last week and the increase of HP is noticiable...I'd say 15 to 20.....

If your cats were clogged up to begin with, removing the matrix will restore the power you lost.
