hi guys,
as some might know i have a diablo 98 SV, i also have a full front and rear CF bumbpers. well the front is white with the black parts in show carbon. the rear is totaly in show naked carbon.

well recently some of the clear coat has been craking on both parts... as the person who worked on it did a bad job...

my question is... how so i take the clear coat and pant off to redo the clear coate.. and how do redo it to last

need the experts advice... becouse i want to keep that naked look to some of it.

you really need to be cautious here! sounds like the clear was either poor quality or the prep was or both. they do make strippers out there designed just for this type of repair. I would suggest you take the pieces to a body shop that knows what they are doing with this type of material and leave it to them... the clears are much better now, flex agents, uv inhibitors are all available now to produce high quality finishes that will last. I could get into exactly how to do this, but carbon fiber dust is NOT something you want to ingest in any form and you don't want to injure the weave by sanding or stripping improperly.

I tried to call you but no answer, We have a shop her in alkhobar that can do this kind of job.

Do you want to remove the white paint and have the original CF look? or you just need to redo the paint and the clear coat?
