Arrow Alcantara seats a wise choice?

hey everybody,

the dealer offered me a brandnew gallardo spyder, im totally in love with it and all the options are perfect. only 1 thing im dealing right now is the seats are alcantara. would this material stain easily. im very worried about that. looks like raindrops could cause stains already, not to mention if i accidentally spoil my coke ;-P

you guys think its better for me to look further till i find another one with normal leather instead? or you say alcantara isn't that bad?

really need some help on this...

thanks
paul

I'd be concerned about that material for the seats. After a few trips in the summertime, I'd be worried about the interior starting to smell like a gym bag.

I know there are people that know how to clean suede and alcantara, but I'm not one of them. Our suede couch looks awful, as any moisture droplets are nearly impossible to remove. This might be fine for a coupe in a sunny climate, but probably not a roadster. Buddy, you're not going to drink a coke in this car, are you???

I had it on my LP640 2007, over 11,000 miles on it and very happy with it..

Alcantara is supposed to be stain resistant and highly durable. If those are you concerns I think you should be fine.
